Aureole or Mandorla
There is the halo (from the Latin "Gold") is the halo that envelopes the entire body,
which means that a high degree of holiness and power of God by a halo.
It is also known as Mandorla (from the Italian
"Luz").
Hala Mandorla or often used to represent Christ in
the change, and Ascension account, as well as the representation of the
Ascension the Virgin Mary, and sometimes children. It is common,
especially in portal sculpture in churches.
